Reset after removing seat

I own a 2009 Volvo s40 and recently removed the passenger seat while doing some maintenance….but did not disconnect the battery.  I have an SRS airbag warning light that does not show up or clear when using a foxwell 210 which does not clear “permanent” codes.  Will your service clear this code or do I need to take it to a shop?

Was the vehicle in an accident? If the vehicle was in an accident then you can send the airbag control module to MyAirbags for reset of crash codes and crash data. If the light just came on one day, then best to check the wiring connections. Usually, the problem is under the passenger seat. You can also get the vehicle scanned for codes to see what the problem is. We reset air bag control modules after the vehicle was in an accident.
