2007 Ford Focus SE Sedan has a 2.0 I4 engine. The air bag light is on. According to my mechanic, there is simply a "crash detected" code on it. I have noticed that the passenger side restraint does not function properly; while strapped, it won't allow you to lean forward more than a few inches. Will it be permanently fixed if I send my seat belts AND the SRS module for reflashing?

It sounds likes that's all you need to do, however, we cannot diagnose your issues. The cost for the reset service is $59.99. Pricing on the seatbelts depends on how many electrical plugs are on each belt. A belt can have up to 3 plugs.
1 plug = Single Stage ($89.99)
2 plugs = Dual Stage ($119.99)
3 plugs = Triple Stage ($129.99)
