We need to send in a small steering column sensor for repair and the shipping cost is coming up REALLY expensive. $20 outcoming, $40 return. Is there any way to do a cheaper shipping on this small item, it weighs just a few ounces.

Unfortunately, there is no cheaper shipping. Once the collapsible steering column sensor is repaired, it is considered hazmat-dangerous goods. By law, we have to ship this hazmat shipping and you will need to sign for it. This is the only way we can ship it as it will be functional. When the unit is not functional, is it not considered hazmat.
