Hey do you guys deal with resetting the control box that is under the drivers seat in a BMW i3 2014? We accidentally unplugged the unit trying to fix our heated seat, we thought that cable was related to heating the seat, however it triggers an error on the car now "Driver Restraint System Malfunction" Seems I should have unplugged my cars 12V battery BEFORE unplugged that cable. It tripped some kind of code state that needs to be reset or something? Our local BMW dealer wants to charge up $200 just to look at what is wrong...

If you have disconnected the battery and re-installed and it still shows that error, it means you have to replace it.
We can only clear out crash history in the event of an accident and cannot test nor repair these modules.
