| ... the two pins at the MES connector. This had no affect and the SRS light on the dash remains on. We then jumped pin 9 and 4 on the datalink connector. By reading the flashing lights we were able to pull the codes and got 5-2 and 4-1. What are our next steps? It looks like the SRS module needs to have some hard codes removed. Do I need to send this unit to you? Also……I checked both crash sensors on the front bumper. Both appear to be not damaged. Are they one time use sensors? Do they need to be replaced if not damaged? | I utilized your services for a vehicle we have here in the shop (2015 Honda CR-Z). It presented with codes E2-11 and F1-11 prior to sending the module in. After reinstalling the module when it came back the faults are still stored and will not clear. the connectors are intact and in good working order. I have also removed the driver's airbag to inspect the connectors and clockspring. I have tried clearing the codes but after cycling the key they will return. Is this a situation where I need to replace a module? and would a used module be a candidate? | |||||

| I don't understand about the universal connectors Are you sying I would have to take apart the pretensioner to replace its integral connector?? Or therer sleeves that slip over the male pins inside of there connected to a new plug? So a new plug on top of or extending from the existing old one that simply stays there? I understand how simple it would be to replace the female connector dangling on the wiringharness I'm just still confused at the process of installing the universal plug on the pretensioner itself? or does the universal simply fit into the ... | |||||

| Thanks for the quick response. How do I tell if my 2021 GMC Terrain retractor is single or two stage? Driver side had the usual yellow connector. Passenger side had same plus a small wire/connector that I have never seen on 30+ seatbelt retractors. | |||||

| My vehicle has an airbag light on. I brought it into a dealership to get an estimate to resolve the issue. When scanning the the computer DTC B2292-RCM was found. The technician determined that the safety belt retractor pretensioner connector 323 in the B pillar has bad connections (on the driver side). The dealership cannot replace just the connector, so they want to replace the entire wire harness 14A005, from the pretensioner to the RCM. If I send in the pretensioner, does this sound like something you can repair? Thanks, | |||||
