| I had talked to someone there a couple hours ago about this issue. We need to repair or replace the front seat belts in a 2018 Jeep Wrangler ..There is a guide clip that goes around the belts and clips into 2 holes in the "B" pillar on each side. Both clips are broke and according to Jeep, the only way to get new ones is to buy new seat belts. I've attached an illustration of the belt assy and circled the clip. | If the seat belts are locked then they will need to be sent to be rebuilt. However sometimes the seat belts still work good, but the internal pyro fuse is bad. The way you can tell that is if you scan the vehicle with a diagnostic scan tool and you get seat belt codes. If you don't have a scanner you can measure the ohm resistance at the seat belt plug to see if you get an OHM reading between 2 - 3 OHM's if you do then the seat belts are good, if you get a different value reading then the seat belt is bad. | Just need to disconnect the battery before you start removing the seat belts. Keep the battery disconnected until you get the seat belts back and reinstall. Also, you don't need a Mercedes scan tool to clear the codes. Just an Autel scanner will do to clear the seat belt codes if the car is powered on with missing seat belts | |||||
