2017 Fusion no accident or airbag deployment

Hello. I've had no accident or airbag deployment, however my 2017 Fusion shows the symptoms and all the DTCs noted in TSB # SSM 46901 - "illuminated airbag lamp and/or SYNC 911 assist not operational message being displayed". This calls for reprogramming of the RCM to the latest firmware and an as-built configuration. Will this service perform the actions noted in this TSB? Thank you!

If the vehicle was in an accident or airbag deployed or seat belt locked because of small impact then yes your airbag control module will have crash data stored. We can clear crash data and crash codes. However if it just came on one day then it is best to have the system scanned to see what codes are coming up. Most of the time it will be something simple like a bad connection under the passenger or driver seat.Here is the page for airbag module reset:
