I have a 2016 Scion Tc, and I'm curious whether your airbag module reset can help me resolve the SRS Airbag Light. I got it from the auction with a minor damage on the rear end, no airbags deployed.
Tha car fax reported a previous minor damage on the passenger side and the last one the rear end.
B1 650, Occupant Clarification System Malfunction, is the problem code.

If your vehicle was involved in an accident and you can see code B1650 and are unable to access other issues in the memory side where crash data codes get latched onto. I would recommend sending in the module for reset service and see what happens.
