| The car has not been in an accident and everything I have read online says that people have just replaced the seatbelt out of a car from a wrecking yard and the code went away. Not sure why I would need to send the module in also. Let me know if you still need the module. Thank you, | |||||

| We can only give recommendations. The airbag module is connected to your airbags, sensors and belts and any time those parts are repaired or replaced, the module needs to be reset. Completely up to you with whatever you wish to do. Thank you! | |||||

| You would need to send in the seatbelt along with the airbag module, if that's your only code then that should clear the light.You do not need to send in the buckle. Thank you! | |||||

| So what we do here is reset the module after the vehicle has been in an accident with deployment. If it has not been in an accident then the service will not work. The best thing for you to do is get the safety system scanned when that airbag light is on and it will give you codes for whatever the issue is. Hope this helps! | |||||

| This does sound like your seat weight sensor needs to be repaired/replaced. Your airbag module is connected to your airbags, sensors, and seat belts, you can have the module scanned for codes and those codes will let you know if any of those parts need to be repaired/replaced.We do not service these sensors here. | |||||

| The best place to start is powers and grounds. Have there been any modifications that may have caused a wire to run through? Make sure the fuse to the module is good. If needed, checking the powers and grounds, as well as the communication wire from the module, is good by removing the connector and checking wire integrity. Check network voltages are correct on the rest of the network as well. If everything else is good, then suspect the module. Sometimes, if the simple things check out, it can be just as easy to have the module sent for testing/re-setting. But you may end up doing all the in-vehicle tests anyways if it passes in the testing facility. You may also have codes in other systems that will indicate a better solution, or point towards a better answer. | |||||

| We can only clear crash history caused by an accident and cannot test or repair these modules once they are removed from the vehicle. You will have to find either a local mechanic that can repair the module or take it to a dealer. Thank you! | |||||
