I bought a salvage title car that was in a flood event. Other than a few electrical issues that are fixed, the seat belts are done. The retractor spring is rusted and broke in some spots so the belt no longer retracts. The plugs to the pretensioner device were corroded to the point where I had to break them to get it unplugged. However, I do thing the pretensioner will still work just as it is supposed to. If I send you the retractor and belt for spring repair/replace and the pretensioner device, will I still be charged for the pretensioner even if it is still functional?
We will only charge on what needs to get serviced. If you know that a portion of the belt is good, please attach a note directly to the seatbelt stating so.
