I just want to know if it’s legal to clear airbag history of a vehicle.
Will clearing the airbag of vehicle involved in an accident fix flashing airbag light?

It is legal to reset the airbag module. This service is completed so your airbag system will work properly again. If you don't wish to have the airbag module reset, you can always go to a dealer and replace the module altogether.
Your airbag module is connected to your airbags, sensors, and seatbelts, if any of those parts need to be repaired or replaced then it is recommended to do so before you get the airbag module reset. If these parts are all good to go then resetting the module will be your last step and should make your airbag light go away.
