Can you tell me please how can i know if the pretensioner got fired? Because i don't see any Pistons under the seat
There are different seat belt pretensioners and different ways to tell if a seat belt pretensioner is good or bad. Some pretensioners have small metal balls inside, when the pretensioner is bad you will hear the balls inside rattling. For other seat belt pretensioners there is really no way to know by looking at it. The best way is to measure OHM resistance at the plug of the pyro sensor (electrical plug). A good seat belt would show resistance between 2-3 OHMs. If you are not seeing these numbers then a seat belt pretensioner is bad.
