Honda Ridgeline We still have the airbag light even though the SRS has been reset

 

Hondas has always been painful for some reason. We have a Ridgeline that we replaced the driver seat belt and driver roof. We still have the airbag light even though the SRS has been reset, we went to the dealer for diagnose and he gave us the following error "Side Curtain Airbag and/or Seat belt Tensioner is deployed" and asking me to replace the SRS module which does not make sense. any idea about this error

Some scanners will give you the wrong description for certain DTC codes. For Ridgeline check the buckle as well, the part with the red button that you click the seat belt into. That buckle usually collapses/pulls down. If your Ridgeline has that buckle on the driver's side and the driver-side seat belt was bad and rebuilt/replaced then the buckle also needs to be replaced or rebuilt. Myairbags.com does rebuild buckles and seat belts if you are looking to save money  and having the original parts rebuilt instead of purchasing new or replacement parts.
