Do I need to disconnect the battery or airbag control module, or can I remove the seatbelt while battery and airbag control module are still connected

The battery must be disconnected before anything is removed or installed.

The battery needs to be disconnected anytime you are removing or installing a belts. While we don't recommend that you operate your vehicle without these parts, the vehicle is still drivable. Once the belts are removed, you can reconnect the battery without worrying about any other components deploying.

1. So disconnect battery.
2. Do I need to unplug the airbag control module or no.
3. Once seatbelt is removed can I reconnect the battery and drive car until I get the seat belt back???
