Codes B10061B and B10071B

After an accident (head-on collision), when the air bags were deployed, errors B10061B and B10071B are displayed during the control. The seat belts are in place and not stretched. The driver and passenger say they were not wearing seat belts when they were driving and when they crashed. I would like to know if it is possible that they were not fastened with the seat belt and the error B10061B and B10071B still appears?

As long as the vehicle was in an accident with deployment then that module will need to be reset.

The module can give you random codes after an accident so the best thing to do I send it in for reset and have that clear.

Also check your belts even though they may seem to be working fine they can still be faulty.

Here is a video on how to test them....
