I had the seat belt repaired and all is good. The airbag light is on. What can I do?
Was the vehicle previously in an accident and if so, did you send the airbag control module to MyAirbags to be reset? After an accident, seat belts will lock and the airbag control module will store crash data and crash history. This needs to be reset to have the airbag light turn off. If the airbag module was reset then it is best to check all connections at airbags, seat belts, and front impact sensors. If all looks good then next step is to have the SRS system scanned with a scanner to see what code comes up. Once you have the code you will know where the problem is. If you still have questions you can call us or send us an email.
