I cant tell which plugs fit my seatbelt and pretensioner? Mazda 2018 mx5 Miata Your heading mentions air bag and seatbelts but the plugs shown are only labeled with the words air bag and clock spring and even then they look the same to me but one says universal and the other "type 1" help! lol thank you

Sorry for the confusion but yes, the "airbag/clockspring" plugs will also work for your seatbelt. If you would like, reply with a photo of your damaged plug, or where you are plugging in the plug (on the belt) and I can help you identify which one you need.
You could always purchase the Universal Plug Kit. We provide you with new inserts (replace the old ones with these) and new plugs along with solider tubes to solider the pigtails. Works for belts and airbags.

Hope this helps.

Let me try to simplify it.
I know that this image is not what your seat belt looks like, but the kit will come with new inserts (what I am pointing to in the image). You will replace the old one that is on your pretensioner now with the one we send you. The plug we send you will fit into the insert we send you. You will just need to solder the plug onto the existing wiring harness in your vehicle.
The universal plug will fit into the insert that we provide for you. Does that make more sense?

YES! That is such a better way to call it. CONVERSION kit!! I'm going to suggest that be renamed.
The conversion kit will work for any seat belt and any airbag.

I don't understand about the universal connectors  Are you sying I would have to take apart the pretensioner to replace its integral connector??  Or therer sleeves that slip over the male pins inside of there connected to a new plug?  So a new plug on top of or extending from the existing old one that simply stays there?  I understand how simple it would be to replace the female connector dangling on the wiringharness I'm just still confused at the process of installing the universal plug on the pretensioner itself?  or does the universal simply fit into the oem plug??  Thanks

I guess what does not make sense is how on earth a universal connector "insert" could fit INTO the existing on all various brands ? I wish you simply had a video or picture showing how it fts...I cant tell by the words if I have to pry out the existing and put in the universal or just somehow plug the universal onto the existing pins...sorry if I sound dumb but I am have a really hard time understanding amazingly there is zero information I can find in the way of youtube videos or offerings from any other companies looks like you guys are the only heros to save the dayfor hich I m very thankfulif I can finally understand the process

Okay duhh I finally looked at the order form gizmo and see you ask which model and year so not exactly universal the way I was thinking rather converts existing connector to ACCEPT universal pigtail ! And you are you sure the airbag pair will work on my two seatbelt pretensioner connectors which are orange and yellow each with different keyway offsets?
