We have been trying to find out what the resitance is for the brown plug attached to the motor in the attached picture.
I imported my Honda Stepwgn (2009-2015) from Japan and now there is a SRS light showing with E-pretensioner unit fault. I ordered a part from Japan myself after the first visit to a Honda Dealer in the UK, which happened to be the incorrect one, the correct part number is 81450-szw-j11ze. Have showed it to Honda UK and they can't do anything further without a replacement e-pretensioner that they quoted over 1k.
Was wondering if you could let me know from your experience what the power and resistance levels are or should be on the e-pretensioner unit, especially the brown and yellow inputs to determine the exact fault. As that is something that an auto electrician has asked for and would be much appreciated.
That is a motor plug, so depending on the motor location internally, that will determine the resistance. I should have these motors in stock, let me know if you need one
How much is motor and are they easy for us to replace?
they are easy to repair.. the motor is $49 plus shipping
I have attached a picture of what I think the e-pretensioner looks like inside as you may be able to better confirm if this is the case.
Before we commit to a motor or rebuild would you be able to let us know what the resistance is so that my mechanic can check this please and make sure that the motor is at fault?
