2011 Ford E-250 Seatbelt Buckle Pretensioner

Vadim

I'd like to confirm what service I need for my 2011 Ford E-250 before sending any parts. Please find data & fault codes below

Fault codes:
B1213:13 Passenger Seatbelt Buckle Pretensioner Deployment Control Circuit Open (Status ODDTC)

B1213:13-3B Passenger Seatbelt Buckle Pretensioner Deployment Control (Status CMDTC)

This makes me believe the buckle pretensioner on the passenger side has gone bad, however I have not been in an accident and I'd expect a infinite resistance when I test it wilt my multimeter (which I did not get).

When reading the resistance settings with my SRS meter, I got the following:

Driver seatbelt pretensioner deployment control resistance: 2.3-2.35 ohm

Passenger seatbelt pretensioner deployment control resistance: 3.4-3.45 ohm

See video attached for more information.

Can you help me confirm whether or not my passenger side buckle tensioner is the problem here? Or should I keep looking for something else. Once I know what it is, I can send the parts to you within a day for repair.

Thank you!

Do you offer service on the wiring as well? If needed, I can send the buckle pretensioner + wires/connector for repair.

yes, the passenger side has too high of resistance... Resistance should be between 2-3 OHMs..
You can also check the wiring to make sure it good
