'05 Toyota Tundra was in a accident

My '05 Toyota Tundra was in a accident (passenger side side-swiped). The driver airbag deployed , and driver seatbelt is locked in the in position now. I did get a complete airbag /steering wheel used , and has been installed. The origional driver seatbelt is now out/ disconnected . Our OBD2 tool pulled up a DTC code : "B1901" pretensioner squib (driver side) circuit code.

From what I gather, I can either send the locked seatbelt (not sure what else) into you for a reset. , or I could buy a whole new seatbelt thru my Toyota dealer.

Please let me know what else I'd need to send the seatbelt into you, cost , and anything else you can suggest / questions.

Thank you,

You can send the seatbelt to us for a seatbelt repair service. Is code B1901 the only code you are getting? If so then you can go on the MyAirbag.com website and set up your order and it will tell you how much it will cost you to get the seatbelt repaired. If you are getting any other codes (deployment codes) I would also recommend sending in the Airbag control module in for a Module reset service because the vehicle was involved in an accident and airbags or seatbelts deployed.

The only thing I know that controls the seatbelts to deploy in case of an accident is the Airbag Control Module. This module controls everything that is associated with the airbag system (seatbelts, airbags, and sensors).

OK , so do you suggest that I send that in as well with the driver seatbelt ?

Thanks again,

Yes, that is what I'm saying. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, the "B1901" code was the only one coming up. A replacement steering wheel /airbag was installed as well as clock-spring to do the install for that.

I was told by my auto-body worker , that I'd have to send in the seatbelt and "seatbelt control module " to gett them both reset. I think I know where the seatbelt modual is ( behind glovebox) , as the Toyota service gave me a schematic of where it is ( from their indication it was only the one module ) .
Does this sound correct, or do you think I could just send in seatbelt only ?

I'll try to navigate your website to see if / should spit me out a quote to send in the seatbelt .

Thanks,
