Your site doesn't give the option to go back that far with year so I wanted to ask. I'm not sure anything is actually wrong with the mechanism itself, beyond being a 40 year old part that I'd like to know is up to the task should it be needed. But the webbing itself is frayed and faded, I'm sure they aren't really up to the task as intended. New isn't an option as they've long been discontinued.
I imagine this isn't an issue for you, but wanted to verify. Guess it'd be nice to know how you'd like the order placed too, should you be willing and able to do the work.
