I have a 2003 Nissan 350Z with a B1150 and B1134 hard code. The side and rear curtain airbags are intact and there does not appear to be any reason for the airbag light to be on. Will resetting the airbag module clear the codes?
I would say-yes!
Probably on because the module does effect 911, anti-lock codes, anti-skid several things besides just the air bags? That'show it was on my car and after it was reprogrammed all the codes were reset-
Only send us airbag computer control module if the vehicle was in an accident because it will have crash data. If the vehicle was in an accident it may not give you crash codes. It will tell you what components are bad like seat belt or airbag.
Then after you get that fixed, you will no longer have those codes, but the airbag light will be on and there are NO codes, but light is still on because vehicle was in an accident and it has crash data. That we can reset/clear crash codes and crash history.
For the codes you are referring to are the B1150 code is when a malfunction is detected in the occupant classification system. B1134 is for front left driver airbag. There could be a problem with the plug connectors or those parts have failed.
