On my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500, the air bag light came on despite no accident, and my scan tool said it couldn't communicate with the module. I looked at the module under the drivers seat and found tons of white corrosion from moisture. Can this module be serviced by you folks? I bought a used 2005 module and found the connector to be different. So I am hoping you can repair this one.

No, sorry we don't repair airbag control modules. We reset crash data and crash history after vehicle was in an accident. If you are getting a used airbag control module, then it is best to get a replacement airbag module with same part number.

my past experience has proven that there is almost never a permanent fix for corrosion damage to a critical module. Keep looking for the correct used one is my advice
