I'm preparing to send the airbag control module in from my mini cooper. I'm wondering is it possible to drive the mini without the module while it's being reprogrammed? I understand this would be at my own risk in terms of airbag safety, but wondering if it will cause problems with the mini's computer or any other issues. Thanks!

Yes, you may move the vehicle once the module is out but keep in mind that you will have no safety features and will be operating the vehicle at your own risk. We do not recommend this for your safety. If driven, it will not cause any damage to your vehicle regarding any Mini computer. You will only get an airbag light on and no safety features.
