My air bag for the passenger side light is on no accident. Dealer said it was faulty air bag control module, Not sure that is the case can the module be reset for a 2004 beatle convertable be reset?

Reset is only if the vehicle was in an accident to clear crash history. If there was no accident, then reset will not help.
