code I am concern about is the B00A0-00

I have a 2014 Infiniti Q50. I am getting SRS/Airbag light in the dashboard. I had hired someone to do the zero-reset and we confirmed that it's not the Occupant sensor control box under seat. Issue is the sensor built-in under the seat cushion. It's not sending the right voltage which can cause the airbag not to deploy in an accident or rollover situation. THE code I am concern about is the B00A0-00. For my model car, I would have to buy a whole seat frame to replace that sensor or get a used seat from another car and perform a zero rest. Can you help with this?

Yes you can get another occupant weight sensor module from another vehicle and then calibrate it.

Sounds as if the sensor in the seat is definitely faulty. I'm not sure where you live etc., but I work at a salvage yard. L.K.Q. its a pretty big corporation and likely to have one within an hour from where you are. They record pictures of every vehicle in stock. Have them locate you a seat from a vehicle that didn't have any airbags or pretensioners deployed. You may have to swap over your material or possibly just swap pretensioners or seat sensors to correct this issue. Make sure to disconnect battery before administering any repair.

Hello! Most cars have a pad that recognizes the weight which is the sensor your talking about. If the sensor in the seat is bad and you can get in there most certainly get a sensor from another car. As far as time goes however it might just be easier to find a whole seat instead of taking the sensor out of a seat than taking yours apart as well. I personally usually just change the seat and take the module from your seat and install it to the new one. You might get away with not having to do another zero reset. Hope this helps!
