My 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Armada Le has not been in an accident but both side impact sensors on the driver side and passenger side are throwing a code I'm wondering if it's the module if it got wet through winter time I do not know can it be the module that is causing the problem the driver side seat belt does not retract on its own all the way the passenger side does any clues would be helpful

If you are getting codes for the sensors then they need to be replaced. We are not able to repair these sensors so I don't have much information. Also, if the belt is not retracting then it needs to be repaired. We can repair the seat belts and reset the airbag module but the sensors will need to be sourced somewhere else.

While it is not recommended to drive the vehicle without the module because your airbag system won't work properly in the event of an accident, the vehicle is still drivable.
