I’m in NZ and I have a 1999 which could actually be a 1996 Ford ixion , similar to Mazda premacy
It has OBD1 port which is annoying .
Problem
The Airbag light is flashing the code 12 and staying on not turning off when it should
Seat connections look good too
We are looking for the control module but am cannot find it .
We have replaced the seatbelt pretensioner in the pillar after been told that was the problem
After a bit of homework it’s looking like lost voltage to the airbag . Apparently blown fuse or backup battery voltage low … thinking it’s in the module with something to do with the capacitors .
I hear you guys are the ones to see so I’m hoping you can help here

You will have to replace the airbag module but unfortunately, we do not carry this replacement part. We mainly reset airbag control modules after vehicle was in an accident/collision and had crash data/crash history stored.
