i took my seats out of the truck to change the heat pad elements. the ignition was turned on while the seats were out. i thought nothing of it. when i put the seats back in and started the truck the air bag light was on. i have not been able to find out how to reset the system. it was not in an accident, ignition was turned on when seats were disconnected and replacing the heat pads. i did not damage anything under the seat and have taken them back out to look and verify i did not damage any wires or the sensors.
is there a easy way to reset the light or will a module need to be reset using either you or the dealership?

Unfortunately you might have just accidentally knocked your seat out of calibration. I would start by getting the seat re-calibrated.
