I have a 22 Subaru Outback airbag module that another company was unable to reset for an unknown reason (caused by a malfunctioning chip's internal communication).
How certain are you that you might luck out? If not, I have a clean module, but is it possible to transfer the serial ID for the occupancy sensor from the flawed module to the viable module? A serial mismatch code appears when I plug in a working module. B1796

Unfortunately, if you are experiencing "Communication issues" or "Internal Faults", we would not be able to service your Airbag Module. It's likely you may need to purchase a new Airbag Module. If our technicians can't communicate with the unit, then we wouldn't be able to clear the "Crash Data History" on your Airbag Module.
And to answer your question about your Occupant Module, we do not offer and "Flashing" or mostly known as "VIN Coding." If you can provide me with the part number of your Occupant Module, I can see if we can service it, but we still would not be able to VIN Code it to match your vehicle. You would need to seek out a Certified Dealership and/or Certified Mechanic to see if they can offer that service for you.
