I bought a 2017 Police Ford Explorer and am changing the front seats to a leather set from a 2018. My airbag light won’t go off. Do I need to have the seat belts and controller recalibrated?

Normally the seatbelt will be fine. The passenger seat module will need to be recalibrated or reconfigured, if that does not work, then original seat module will need to be installed in the new seat you installed and possibly need to recalibrated.
