2014 acura tl seats got changed, airbag light is on

You don't need to send the module in to be reset, because there is no crash data to be reset. 
​You will need to find the old seat and remove the original OPDS computer and put it on the new seat. You  will also need to recalibrate the passenger weight sensor. 

Ok that sounds good what if possibly I'm not able to get the old seat is there another way around it just curious would the airbags still deploy if there were an accident

If the airbag light is on the airbag system is normally turned off by the module because it detects a fault. If you are unable to get the old module back then you would have no choice but to complete a recalibration to make the light go off.

The module from the old seat right?also what is involved with a recalibration if u don't mind me asking??

So the guy doesn't have the old seat do I have to take it to the dealer to have it reset they can do that right?

You don't have to go to the dealer for a seat recalibration. Check some local shops that have the capability of recalibrating the passenger seat. Most good scan tools can do this.

That can normally do it.

I will be happy to assist you, was the vehicle in an accident with deployment? Or were just the seats changed? 

I believe just the seats were changed just bought it
