2013 Honda Insight.If I'm not sure how to retrieve the airbag control module on a vehicle that you service with your reset (in order to send it to you), can you guide me or refer me to something to help?

And just to be sure, simply removing the module should not affect anything in the car or safety light or seat belts different from how it is presently behaving after it is already signaling that the light is on and the airbags are disabled?

The module will not affect anything as you correctly do not have an active airbag system until everything is fully functional. If everything is functional in your vehicle and you simply just removed the module, nothing will happen other than you disconnecting the airbag system as its not functional with that module removed.. meaning, if you were to get into an accident with the module removed your belts may not protect you, your airbags may not deploy etc...
