The connection can be on both portions. 
The buckle pre-tensioner is a separate part we can service the buckle for $79.99 per unit. 

Are the plug options on the seat belt just the plug on the tensioner??? Mine has one and I will be sending the buckle side with the metal tube as well does this include rebuild of that part it’s bolted to the seat?
