I recently purchased a 2012 Subaru Forester that had been in an accident which deployed the steering wheel airbag. They replaced the air bag and repaired the body then sold the car. The airbag light is still on though, they said the airbag module needs to be reset by Subaru. I called Subaru and they said they won’t reset it, but they usually just replace it. This is where I found you guys and I’m hoping for a cheaper alternative! I’d like to get a quote on getting the crash codes cleared. I also have a few questions - is the car okay to drive without an airbag module for the few days that you guys will have it? And is there a guarantee that this will clear the airbag light? Thank you!
