2012 Honda Crosstour EX-L. The passenger seat took rain water damage and was replaced with yard pulled parts. Ever since then my SRS light stays on. First Honda dealer said OPDS sensor was bad, so I replaced. Now they tell me it could be SRS unit. Is it possible that the module just needs to be cleared of crash data that the replacement seat brought with it? Is it possible for crash data to transfer that way? Will a module reset take care of the SRS light in this situation?
Thank you for any help
We can only clear crash history, you would have to have the module checked to ensure it doesn't have any water damage. If it does, it will need to be replaced.
Thank you!
The module is programmed to your VIN so it will only show you data from your accident. If you wish to send us your module to be reset, orders can be placed on our website, MyAirbags.com.

Thank you!
To be clear, there was absolutely NO water damage to the module located under the stereo mid console area so water damage is of no concern. -Is it possible that the seat from the junk yard carried over crash data from its original host, and would your process be able to clear this SRS alarm if that os the case?
