my 2012 f150 was not in an accident but i have a b0097-96 code right side restraint sensor 2 component internal failure

Hello,
It sounds like you need to get your sensors looked at, if there is an internal failure within the module itself it will have to be replaced. We are not able to repair the sensors or airbag modules, we can only clear out the crash history within the module in the event of an accident.
