I just bought a 2009 Nissan Sentra and am trying to clear a SRS light on the dash. The light is constantly on (does not blink). I used a ABS/SRS capable scanner but it doesn't have any codes. The scanner actually reads Pass/no fault codes. What do you think my next steps should be?
Thank you,
If your scanner isn't picking up on the codes then it could be that the module has lost communication. We cannot test or repair these modules and can only clear deployment codes caused by an accident.
Thank you!
The codes remain in your module until it is reset so it could be that there is an issue with those parts or the module needs to be reset. You can take your vehicle to a local mechanic or dealer so they can pinpoint your issue. If these parts have already been repaired or replaced then you can send us the module to be reset.
Orders can be created on our website, MyAirbags.com
Thank you!
Thank you for the prompt response. So I checked again and it did pull up some codes (they are listed below). Does this mean that these sensors or parts need to be replaced or that they may have been replaced but the module still had the data from them?
