After installing the repaired air bag control module, is there anything I need to do to help rest the system and clear the air bag light? It goes out fir a second at startup but comes right back on.

We always recommend that you get your airbag module scanned for codes. Your airbag module is connected to your airbags, sensors and seat belts and those codes will let you know if you need to repair/replace anything else before you get your module reset.
