Quick question about 2007 Porsche boxster airbag Module. My part number is 99761821708. My car was rear ended. Seatbelt got stuck. I got the seat belt repaired but airbag light is on. I took it to my friend who has the special scanner. He said the module can't be reset and needs to be replaced.

what is the reason why it can't be reset? Does it have an internal malfunction or has it lost connection? I ask because we cannot repair these modules and can only clear crash history so please make sure this is all you need done before sending it in. Thank you!

I got a hold of my friend. He said the crash history doesn't allow him to turn the light off. He said if crash history gets cleared, module should work.
