I have a 2007 Hyundai Sonata with constant air bag issues and it's never been in an accident. I have all the airbags, seatbelts and clock spring working correctly. I still have an airbag dash light on with a code B1449 Occupant Classification Communication Error. The dealer has told me in the past that the airbag module has a programming issue. Is this something you can fix? Will I still need to go to the dealer for calibration after you reprogram the module? Any help would be appreciated.
I sorry we don't program modules. The correct way to program a module is to complete the program the module while installed in the vehicle. Something sounds out of the ordinary. If the dealer told you that you are having programming issues and they can't reprogram the module for you. Either they have no idea what they are doing (all dealers have access to dealer services program authority). Or they just have no idea what is wrong with your vehicles Airbag System. There would be no reason to send us the module.
OK … thanks for the response
