2005 Colorado truck was in a fresh water flood

Buddy

My 2005 Colorado truck was in a freshwater flood and water covered my airbag module for a few days. Curious if I should replace it or hope it’s fine. There a few Colorado at a junk yard but they have different part numbers. I attached my current module

If I knew my SDM was under water for a few days. I would take it off put it in a bag with salt for a day or two to pull the water out. Reinstall the module and see if I have any SRS codes. If none then you are OK. If the Airbag light is on and you have no communication then I would replace the module with a new module and have it programmed by the dealer.

Ok thanks for that info so far I’ll do that, I wasn’t seeing airbag light last time I had the battery connected I’ve been leaving the battery disconnected for the time being and got carpet and water removed from the cab to dry out.
