SRS light on continuously. Fault code 9-1. Cannot reset SRS using jumper on MES. plug-light stays on. Car not in accident, airbags never deployed. Honda accord EX, 2000, 4dr, side airbags.
Honda service manual indicates fault 9-1 may be intermittent. But I cant continue to troubleshoot the system without a reset. Suspect the module set a hard fault
Can you reset? Can you detect/repair a fault within the unit?

Sorry for Honda that is normally an internal fault. We erase crash codes and check for communication. We don't do internal repairs in modules. Feel free to reply.

If I buy one of your used SRS modules with a matching part number, will it necessarily need dealer programming? Or is there a chance it might work as is? Do you have an estimate of what the dealer charges to program?
