Replaced wheel and knee airbag on 17 Malibu, sent you module and seat belts, recently installed and the air bag light is still on! Any suggestions?

Were you able to scan the vehicle with a Diagnostic Scanner to see which codes you are still receiving? The reason you could still have a light on could be for numerous different reasons. Scanning it would pinpoint the exact issue and then we can help you from that point.

Yes, it is common to need to replace the clock spring when the steering bag deploys.
I would still recommend scanning it first for reassurance.

Is it common to need to replace the clock spring on the Malibu when the wheel bag deploys? Or should I just get it scanned before I stick more parts into it?
