I am getting a B0058 and B0065 code on my 05 GMC Envoy. I have checked all the wiring multiple times and have not found any suspicious wires or damage. I was in a fender bender roughly 6 months before the light came on but it seems unlikely that is the cause. Could the codes on the SDM be causing this light?

Yes, the codes in the SDM are causing the Airbag Light On. Test the pre-tensioners on both front seatbelts, they should have a resistance value of 2 to 3 ohms. If the value is lower or greater the number, I gave you. Then more than likely that belt is faulty. If this is the case, you can send them to us so we can rebuild them for you.
