013 Kia Sportage was in an accident

My 2013 Kia Sportage was in an accident and the airbag light has come on. The airbags themselves were never blown out. If I were to send you the module to reset, would that get rid of the airbag light?

Your airbag module is connected to your airbags, sensors, and seatbelts. Please have those components checked before the airbag module is sent in for a reset. While we can clear it, we cannot guarantee that the airbag light will go away until those components are checked to ensure they are in good working condition. Once you do that, you can place your order on our website and ship us your module.

As long as your battery is disconnected when you are installing the module or any part for that matter, your airbags will not blow.

Thank you.

The rest of those mentioned things are fine. What I’m asking is that the airbags did not blow out, yet the airbag module has saved the crash data. So when I put the module back in after the data has been reset, are the airbags going to blow out?
